Hi guys,
I own an e60 520d m sport model and I'm planning in changing my wheels. Can you tell me your opinion regarding the best size and smartest look formy car
. My choice is between 3 sets of alloys : CADES APOLLO 19" wider rear, OEM SPIDERS STYLE 172 19" or the M5 replica 20".
I am not planning in lowering it as won't get in my garage so with 20 inch will the ride height increase and will look like a lorry? Also as it's a 520d manual trans would the gear ratio increase? Also with 20 inch does it change the ride quality alot?
Thanks for your help guys also if you have some pics of these alloys fitted on car can you post them please??

Would not suggest 20" wheels as you would need to reduce the tyre wall height if you wish to maintain your speedo accuracy. Thus, there is much greater chance of damaging the sidewall of the tyre whenever you hit a pot hole. Trust me, the cost of repairing rims and tyre replacement sometimes is not worth the minimal difference in handling and steering response you may achieve.
