BMW E60 Advanced DVD screens retrofit
from what I'm reading, I think that's a good solution but still need a display in the rear for the kids and the best way to go about it is to install headrest monitors. Still too lazy to tackle that project unless I can find a cheap alternate way. I've seen some other brands built in headrest monitors but the quality of the leather is no comparison to vizualogic.
I dont want headrest monitors, they never match the leather, look cheap imo and lastly I have active headrests (pic) so dont want to lose that by fitting headrest monitors, also I prefer the OEM look to aftermarket.
I have the cheaper headrest version. If I have yours, I wouldn't want to mess with it either. As for the leather on the built in kind, you're right about the leather issue on many cheaper brands but Vizualogic has the same feel and texture for BMW Dakota beige leather style, at least back then when I had it installed on my wife's 330. They're custom made hence the ridiculous price.

Well time for a bit of an update, I already have the screens and mounts, bought for a bargain price
I am looking to hook them up to this: http://www.xcarlink.co.uk/product.ph...&cat=16&page=1
Any comments?

You will still need a splitter/amplifier to send the same source to 3 screens together.
There is wide choice of these interfaces available. Choose a good one or go for the ACM with is OEM.
