That is interesting. I always assumed it would fit. The VMR CSL's work with the OEM cap.

The fitment is the same. I was able to use the same center caps from my original 17" OEM wheels on my new 19" Style 166s (installed just last week--and let me state that they look awesome!)
cheers for the input

Hold up on the 124's for now. Because I know your old center caps will fit those for sure.
Monkey, I am curious if the hub size of the Miro reps is your problem. They make different sized center bores, depending on offsets. Did you have to install centering rings? Quote from Modbargain's website: *BMW E60 requires a hubcentric ring, please e-mail us for more information.. The lower offsets required for RWD E60's would have given you a 74.1 centerbore instead of the OEM 72.56.
However, I also found this on ModBargain's web site re: the Miro CSL rims:
"BMW center caps are available upon request. These wheels are compatible with OEM BMW center caps, meaning you can transfer the center caps from your original BMW wheels into these new CSL wheels."
Does anyone know if the OEM 74.10 bore rims have larger (or smaller?) center caps than the 72.56 ones? This could be your issue. You said your OEM ones are too BIG, so that is a bit odd. I would have expected too small if anything.
VMR CSL's would have solved all of these issues, correct bore size and caps that fit. Oh well.
