Sorry....... I meant my E39 has the little doors.

I'm doing last second adjustments to my ED (in 2 days)! Wasn't paying close enough attention...........

Thule racks can fit on Yakima round bars if you buy an adapter, the adapter is a $5 piece that allows the Thule racks to fit on Yakima round bars, the question is, does Yakima have a fit kit for the E60?

Checked on the Yakima website, the Q Towers, $129, 2 sets of Q Clips $50, and 48" crossbars, $50 will give you the rack minus the carriers, my Thule racks have the attachments built into them so I don't need the adapter. My racks are Thule fork mount bike racks. Good luck.
