Default BMW Assist

Hi Guys,

What is the main reason to lose BMW Assist and SOS functions when we upgrade CCC to CIC or NBT where new unit is original BMW equipment?

With CIC you do not lose BMW Assist, only with Combox or NBT retrofit!

Most people don't actually use these services. Do you have an active subscription?

I bought my car as second hand. I don't know if first owner had it or not but I don't have any active subscription. I called BMW Australia to learn more about it. Guess what? They didn't know anything about BMW Assist and adviced me to call a dealer/service department. As per their instruction, I tried 3 different dealer without any luck. I gave up

I don't know why BMW Australia is acting like they don't know anything about BMW Assist
