Does anyone have access to the BMW ASAP database?

I need a direction to mount an rollo (manual sunshade in the rear window).

The rollo has part number 51460394323.

I dont think its difficult but there are some small brackets that I want to mount correctly.

Didn't the part come with instructions? I thought that accessories and retrofittings would have some sort of information packaged with it to help you figure this out.

The TIS CD that I have doesn't cover this part since it's not a factory installed item. (I'm not familiar with the ASAP database that you describe.)

(I assume that this is the part you have: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?mo...g=51&fg=95&hl=1 )

ASAP for Europe is VERY expensive since they charge you per page loaded

Cant your dealer get it for you ?

I will shortly be ordering this rear window blind and those instructions may come in handy, thanks.

Do you know if you can also order rear-side window blinds?

The only type I've seen are the ones which store inside the door itself. To get these fitted I would need new interior door fittings as well as the blinds themselves. Expensive.

I don't want to get stick on ones if I can avoid it, as I once had a bad experience on a previous car of my wife accidently winding down the electric rear window with it stuck on, jamming the window open!

Can you take some pictures of it? How much was the part? Is it original part?

Thanks!
Serge.

It's original parts - or at least bought at a BMW dealer and the parts was in a original BMW box with a BMW part number....

Here in Norway (the expencive country) we have to pay approx. 190 Euro
At least much much cheaper then the electrical one an it looks the same.

I will post pictures later. Its almost night here now
