My Ride: 2006 BMW M5, Silverstone with black extended leather, brushed aluminium trim, Nav Pro, Logic 7, PDC, 35 % tint.
I live in Toronto, Canada and will have the 545 delivered (without sports package) in a few weeks. I will need winter tires here.
Should I get a new set of rims/tire combo. or have the tires changed while keeping the same rims? The car currently has 17" rims with ContiTouring tires. I did not get the sports run-flats due to the horrible roads (potholes, construction) here.
I was also wondering what winter tires others have experience with. 80% of my driving is freeway.
Also, how are the OEM continental tires? Are they adequate for normal/ slightly spirited driving in a 545 or are sports performance tires a must in a 545?
