its a powerbox--however there are other tunes out there with more power gains for the n52 that involve increaseing valvle lift and not just air/fuel/spark timing like the BMS-they are remaps. Check out e90post.com under NA engines for info
I have bms and enjoy the throttle response-dont think it pulls much harder but much more responsive which is worth every penny and way better than a SB which I had years ago
