Second thread from me

Ive made some research on Sprint Booster, Velocity Booster and BMS Power Box. There are lot of reviews and all seem to be positive about all of them.

I left with the choice between Velocity Booster and BMS PB because they have mapping options.

Does anyone have ever tried both of them? BMS is much cheaper than Velocity Booster and claims to not only remove throtle lag but also give some power and torque.
My only concern is with an odd system of choosing between mapping options.(pushing pedal) I reckon it might be a problem because you cant know which option you've chosen because it doesnt display anything.
Owners of this mod - is it a problem at all or everything works fine?

Also, how satisfied are you with your BMS Power Box?

Thanks,
-Leo.

We've had nothing but good feedback on the BMS powerbox. Improved throttle response and noticeable power gains...

BMS power box does add slight performance gains...

The Velocity only changes throttle response, no performance gains

BMS PB plugs into your ECU

Velocity connects to your gas pedal (far less invasive)

IMO: I'd go with the BMS PB....better price with gains...

I dont have either but have been debating between Sprint Booster, Velocity and the BMS for quite some time cant pull the trigger on any of them but from what I do know the BMS definitely is not a plug and play product and requires you connect wires somewhere in the ECU. That I am not down for. BMW put a lot of time and effort into making their engine I wouldn't go messing around with it too much. Im gonna go with the velocity or the SB. (After i figure out why everyone on this forum is dumping the SBs like they were going out of style). That my 2 CENTS

BMS also makes the jb3 for the n54 engine (plugs into the ecu as well)...they know what they are doing...

Got mine today! It's like -40 so won't be installing today. Looks like I may have a heated garage this weekend.

Regarding the install it's not like you are cutting and splicing wires. It is fully reversable. Read the instructions I posted, doesn't look bad at all to install.

the JB3 is only for x35 BMW models as those are N54/turbo engines...it increases boost and fuel pressures and controls timing...

the power box, SB, and velocity all manipulate throttle response.....can be used with any model...attaches to the gas pedal

not sure how the power box increases performance or controls throttle response.....but attaches to the ecu directly

sorry to hear about your accident...
