Does anyone know anything about this:

http://burgertuning.com/BMS_Power_Box.html

I'm trying to figure out if this is equivalent to a flash ECU tune from a company like Singh. PBX claims 10hp while Singh claims 17hp. I'm trying to get my car to run closer to a 530. Any advice would be appreciated.

will this bms power box work on my 2004 530i (m54 engine)? I'd be very interested in giving it a go.

AFAIK BMS Power Box designed for N51 & N52 engine, they may have different kind for N54 but not sure.

per the BMS website:

"The BMS Power Box is a piggyback style performance chip for the BMW N51/N52/N53 motor..."

but you could pm member: mike@n54Tuning.com for more info as he sells BMS products

No guys he has a M54, not a N54... the M54 was the I6 in the 530 before the N52 came out in 2006-07.
Best to contact Burger.

I don't think it does , from what I've read about it at e90post.com
N51/52/52/53(euro) for the power box

N54 has the JB3/JB+ and many others from other tuners.

Ok better question, does anyone know of anything that will work for tuning my car preferably without having to send my ecu anywhere?
