I have it on my 530i. It definitely got rid of the lag upon acceleration. Sometimes it can be a bit sensitive and cause the car to jerk. I havent tried changing the settings yet. I have it at the most aggressive setpoint. I won't say it made my car faster though, just more responsive. I have no regrets buying it.

Thanks for your answer....tough your 530, has already a better response (knowing this for a fact, after comparing my 525 against my brother's 530).... Guess it's worth a try, hopefullyni will also fell a little difference at least...

How is it different from the sprint booster? Does it actually add HP or just remove lag like the SB?

it removes lag and has a performance tune. it claims to give 10+ HP and 10+ ft/lbs of torque.

Adds HP, torque and reduces lag.
The SB is plug and play ~10 minutes.
The BMS powerbox requires a little more time to a install since you are tapping into in the ECU ~1-2 hours.

if you're more experienced, it can be done much faster. it took my cousin and I less than 30 minutes.
