I've had two replacement tire sets installed on my wheels. Dunlops -> Bridgestones at the dealer and there were a few minor, barely noticeable nicks that I did not complain about. Bridgestones -> PS2's at Costco and no new damage. I watched them do the work and they were very careful. Your guys should have been able to install your tires without any damage.
You know what he said to me, "Oh, that's common with runflats!" I felt like slugging him in the jaw. I specifically told him when I dropped the car off to make sure my wheels stay in perfect condition. He said of course, as he chuckled back into the shop like I was being so anal or crazy. And then when I called him out on it, he said he told me that. I said, if you told me that, I sure as hell would have taken my wheels elsewhere. OK...now I'm getting all crazy. Hahaha!

When the dealer put on my replacement Dunlops they scratched two of the rims, I complained and they refinished them, but when I got it back after they repaired the two, another rim had a big gash in it, so they had to refinish a third one.

Glad you like the tires Calton. I did the same thing a yesterday and the day before: took the M into big empty parking lot and did some donuts, mashed the pedal to get tons of wheelspin before the the tires gripped around 5K RPM, whipping the tail out, countersteer, laughing my ass off

Sorry to hear about the wheel rash. Make sure they're perfect when you get them back (obviously, I don't have to tell you that). Word of caution though: RFT's' don't take well to repeated dismounting/remounting. You may want to consider a set of beater wheels for the winter so you can keep the tires on the wheels.

The 123's are staying as my winter wheels and tires. I'm using the 124's as my summer since I can't do aftermarket wheels on my car due to the highoffset.

I'm going to the place tomorrow. Spoke to the owner. It's called Long Island Wheel Repair in Freeport. They're considered the best shop in NY. They do all high end cars and aftermarket wheels.

Totally. I'm going to take pix of the wheel damage tomorrow. The main wheel that has the most damage is definitely getting fixed. The others are pretty minor and it's around the circumference of the wheel. You would really have to look hard to see the chips. It's not hard core curb rash like the wheel that got it the worst. I'll let you guys decide if I should make a stink about the others or just live with it. Afterall, they are my winter wheels moving forward...
