The quest for my next wheels continues...
Right now I'm considering a certain model, which is available on silver and matte black. 19 inch is the size.
Not telling the manufacturer/model yet .
I have a sapphire black E60 with m-tech, shadowline and black grilles, and would like to go for a "fighter" look with black wheels.
Tell me your opinion on black wheels generally. Pros and cons. I am a bit afraid of that blackened look...
And post your pics with black wheels! It doesn't matter if the car is black or not.

Yeah I'm not a fan of the FULL black look. I think black rims need at least a chrome lip or SOMETHING to contrast it. If not I feel like you can't even see the wheels from far away and it just looks like a big block.
I have a black car too and had hyper gunmetal with chrome lip, i didn't like it so am going with brushed aluminum w/ chrome lip. in the end though it's up to you

<<<<< so similar to the ones in the pic.
- but I'm biased.
They definately need a contrasting lip though, or its just too black.
What are you thinking of buying then?

I never used to like the all black look but it just works with these wheels imo, gloss doesn't work for me but when I found these Matt ones, I had to have em!. They are the Matt Black Breyton GTS in 20's.

i think those wheels are kick ass.
i remember seeing them on the 6 series and was like daym.
20s look like 21s on the car.
u seem pretty convinced, you should get the wheel man.

Thank you for your thoughts.
All those cars look amazing. I especially like the Breyton's.
Ummm... I really can't decide. I think I would like some chrome as a contrast, but I'm really not for a lip...
I love that all black look, but would I get fed up with it in time?
--> More pics and opinions please!
I know it's up to me, but "hearing" your thoughts helps a lot to see every aspect about black on black.

I agree, the wheel SHOULD have a polished lip to set it off!
