I think the silver with black roof looks good. Especially if you have black wheels. If you do decide to have it painted make sure you have the antenna removed, railing along top removed and painted, windows removed (or at least roped) and replace sunroof gasket ($39 at bmw). I got quotes from $300-$800 to do the job. I paid about $400 total and it looks flawless.

I know I may have expressed my dislike of the black roof on the MB,
but I think the right balance of black accents will work in combination
with the black roof. Hmmm ...
