I would like to know what is the best way to black out my window out line that is curently chrome Can you buy new moulding kits?

Vinyl tape or mask everything and spray paint it.

Yeah i just did this 3 days ago with plasti-dip, it came out clean just have patience and mask everything well and it should work out.

just got a can of plasti dip and will hopefully get to that next weekend along with spraying my 528i badge...

If you're referring to the chrome trim around the window, then yes, you can buy a shadowline trim kit from any BMW dealer. I did mine last summer and it took about 2 hrs. THere's a DYI on the forum that I followed and it was spot on.

Shadow line trim is what you need buddy, any tinting place can do this for you for 150 for all 4 doors, got mine done 3 weeks ago and it was perfect, just had to wait for it for about an hour.. Where you located at? If u are in socal I can tell you where to go... Good luck keep us posted

Thanks everyone sounds like the tint shop is the place to go, do I buy this from the dealer and then bring it to the tint shop?

Go OEM bro you can get it for $220 and install it your self... Rest assured it would last for as long as you own your car. Gary at Tischer BMW

And this would be new trim not plastic wrap?

Don't waste your time with anything else. So OEM shadowline and replace, not cover up, that old chrome trim. $220 from gary romani or ticsher bmw.
