I painted mine matte black and left some chrome I've been doing that to my BMW's since my first one I bought in 1993.. It became my signature mod so my friends say...

On any color other than black cars...I think a complete black grille looks awsome...including your Titanium Silver with black grilles.
I have a black LCI model with the stock bumper that has a black mesh and a silver line in the middle. I am considering painting the kidney trim matte silver to match the silver line on the bumper and replacing the vertical kidney insides with a matching black mesh. Anyone seen anything like that? Opinions? Do you think I'll be able to remove the vertical insides and put black mesh instead? I know this sounds a little crazy...
