That looks great. I got the wooden trim now and this is something I wouldn't mind doing in the future.

I just changed from wood to aluminium and was planning to sell the wood. However, it would be good to do this on the wood if I knew the exact process and paint to use

Could you please take some pictures with the new aluminium trims ?
Mine are space gray (or something like) with gray leather interior and they aren't the best choice. I want to wrapping it with aluminium athesive foil.
How much did they cost you?

I'm planning on painting my trim in high gloss black (probably stain, then lacquer) the week after Christmas. Have any of you guys done this yourself? I work at a painting firm so we have the spray equipment and tools/sundries needed for the job, however I'm wondering if it would be easier (but still look damn good) to just use some sort of high gloss enamel paint instead of the multiple coats of stain and lacquer...?

Any ideas?

If You have an right equipment and experience you can do it. Am not quote sure how they did mine but it looks like just regular send, base paint and clear coat and polish procedure to me

I let the shop do it. Probebly they sanded it first than usual painting prep and procedure. I did not take the door panel to remove the door Handel trim after I realized the they been screwed inside which is really stupid. I put a bloss black vinyl and the they blinded good.
Where did you source your black gloss vinyl wrap from? Im thinking of just wrapping my trim rather than painting...
