Then this confirms I will try the Remus. The only other one I would consider is the Scorpion. I will let you guys know when I install in September. Thanks for the help.

Have you ever consider supersprint? It has a nice deep and smooth tone, I think it is slightly louder than Remus. It seemed that B&B exhaust is the loudest sounding exhaust for the e60!

I wouldn't do either, I'd do Eisenman. The quality is so much better than the B/B (which I will never own another), and still better than the Remus. The Remus is not bad quality, but is not stainless as the Eisenman is (which is why they are usually cheaper).

I love the loud-ass growl from my B&B.

I don't agree about the B&B quality. Even the muffler is chromed and the fit is just right--assuming a proper installation.

I have not considered Eisenman or SuperSprint. I'm a little gun shy on the sound now. Plus, I want to keep the horsepower gain.

I just dropped my clients off at the airport. The more I drive, the more I dislike the BB. Way to loud for a luxury car.

How about a Dinan exhaust? I love the way it sounds...low and throaty and I do not experience any resonance. Other E60 owners who have heard my car at the Meets we've been to have all complimented on the "exotic" sound. Just my .02.

i love my ACS exhaust...just right on sound...a little bit louder than stock and non existant at cruising speeds. Its also made by Remus.

Do you absolutely swear that there is no resonance, or any other kind of obnoxious sound, when in any gear in the neighborhood of 1500-2000 RPM? Have you tested the sound thoroughly in this RPM range? If yes and yes, then I might consider a Dinan.
