can some one clarify if new adaptive headlight modules are necessary to buy if my car already has them?

It seems like ///MrSingh did specify in his post above. In his experience he was not able to use the same AHL modules. Others have reported to same thing. I would have been able to add to this myself however as it turns out my car does not have the adaptive Head Light feature.

Thanks for your feedback. Its really crazy that these modules act the way they do. You would think that they should be re-programmable. Although I wonder if they have a write-once type flash, and if so why would BMW do this?
