I was shopping for wheels the other day and came across this Fake HRE
The seller claims they are HRE 543s but in fact they are Iforged Revs.
HRE has 10 spokes and Iforged has 12 spokes.
Do not bid on this item.

Yes HRE 543 and 543R are 10 Spoke
BUT
HRE 448R = 12
HRE 840R = 11
HRE 549 & 549R = 16
HRE 449R = 20
So just be sure of your facts. If you contacted him and he said 543, then that's another matter.

Yes, 448s are 12 spoke but he replied to me in his email that they are 543s.
No way, they can be 448s, they look completely different.
HRE 448s: straight thinner spokes with deep dramatic concaved hub center
His: curved thicker spokes, smooth less dramatic hub center.
HRE 543: 10 spoke.

If u were serious about these wheels I would check with HRE as their pictures on therir web site have not been updated in over a year. Could it be possible they actually produced a 543 in the 12 spoke? I was never interested in that particular style so I never looked any further into their offerings.
