But then how is the control unit connected? I assume there's a wire that's connected to the unit under the gas pedal and you'll just have to reroute it to wherever you mount the control unit right?

what i saw was, under the pedal, where the E-throttle situated, un-plug the connector, then re-insert into Velocity, and the other end of velocity goes back into E-throttle side. then just scotch taped it nearby for easy access. (the cable from velocity has limited cable length, so i cant wired it all the way to centre console area. in fact, its just replacing the SB, if u already had installed one b4.
from what i read E60 posts here, many members here will be able to DIY anytime.

Hi Guys
Velocity, believe me it works, was really impressed how big a different it makes, 1st setting is more or less like standard, 2nd is a little less than sport setting i think, 3 setting is a bit more than sport and 4th setting is really responsive, best 400$ i have used on the car in a long time. Just do it
Forgot, take about 20min to install, easy

Velocity is good, like a much improved sprintbooster! Nah it doesnt add any HP or Torque, it just increases the torque of your leg muscles!
when SB came out, i was waiting for a controllable version...took so long!
