The BEST way to tint your tail lights???

My Ride: 525i 04 BLK on BLK
I have E60 2004 Blk on Blk and i want to tint a tail lights?
Does anyone know the best way to tint?
Should i use regural tint and what kind? Or spray it? king of scared to trust with spray paint??
And would you recomend living white strip or tint it all??? ( i like the White strip not to be tinted )
First car is mine OTHER ONES are guys from forum. SORRY for using ur car as a sample
I trust this forum now with recomendations

yeap that what i was thinking, but what kind of tint should i use?? Should i just go to the windows tinting shop and ask them for the darkest tint for a lights?

Never mind! Do it like Da_Meister_22. The white part really looks good tinted like that with the black car!!!

At first I used a standard vinyl overlay that I got from decalfx.com
I put the vinyl it on there just like glass tint made sure all the bubbles were out and then cut right along the edge of the white. After a while I decided it was what I wanted and so I took the Vinyl off and got it painted. BTW, I also got the reflectors sprayed to match.
