Love the Quaife LSD!!!!
After having an M3 with LSD I immediately noticed that my 545 drove differently and just didn't seem to put down the power it had. Installing the Quaife LSD makes the car feel more like an M car to me (with softer suspension). If you like to drive and you live where there are winding roads LSD is awesome.

DTC disappears with the Quaife installed.

I have steptronic too:-) (lazy man in a lot of traffic in the mornings:-P)
The DTC and DSC diff override with brakes works fine (or doesnt work, because its not needed), because it measures the difference of spinning between the rear tires, but the rear tires doesnt have a difference:-) The dynamic stabilization control measures the slide and brake separately each wheel, it works as before. The traction control only interferes when both tires are spinning and the controls (DSC or DTC) are on, which is very rare and you need to use gas pedal very agressively. So no worries there. And what concerns the installation, i didnt do it myself, i had help from a mechanic, but he is not specialized for BMW and he just had tech knowlege and tools. The instructions were included with the diff and i made everything clear before the installation, the only tricky thing was to get the bearings off without damaging it, i read somewhere that these are very hard to get off, and the original diff has very limited space to access these...
