The German car magazine Auto-Motor-und-Sport did test winter tires.
Link here (in German).

The three best where:

DunlopSP Winter Sport 3 D

ContinentalWinter Contact TS 810

PirelliWinter 210 Sottozero 2

You are welcome.

The ContinentalWinter Contact TS 810's did really good in a Nordic car magazines pool test as well.

I'm a big fan of the Dunlops. I have a 535i and had no problem in last year's New England winter.

I still love my Blizzaks. I can't imagine getting much better traction than those tires offer on snow, outside of actual studded tires. I just ordered another set of the LM-22's for my M.

I've owned WS and LM and my opinion is there is no contest between the two..The LM was the MUCH BETTER "driver" tire offering pretty decent driving performance in the winter being too soft.

While many claim the WS To be a great ice/snow tire, I found it to be soft and mushy...RUINED my bimmer driving experience and I would NEVER own them again..
