Wow! Congratulations!!

I am so jealous! I want a SC on our V8!

I wonder it is faster than N54 engines or 535i modded?

In theory SC is better than turbo because it is on-demand air pressure, rather than exhaust-dependent, as in the turbo.

it is debatable. some says turbo is better and some says SC is better...

Question: are many of your friends, who you advise on modding cars, divorced?

For those wonder, we should have some results of how quick this car is...coming soon

Im sure this makes the OP happy so thats wonderful but I just cant seem to wrap my head around this. To me, this was one of those extreme examples of wasteful spending. I just dont get it. Im not in any way insulting the OP. Im just confused.

well, if he wanted a sleeper specifically to... let's say... race... and let's just say - strictly for argument's sake - that he is also a bettin' type'o'dude...

In a situation like this, I can see how this can be a good investment...

I looked at AA's website and they only had pricing for the Level 1 kit for an E46 330 at $4400 but they did post a Level 2 dyno which shows 339whp and 274 wheel torque. I don't know if that's with just the supercharger alone or with other ancilliary mods like intakes/headers/exhaust...etc...

At 339whp though, that car should probably beat any stock 545 or 550.

As for the amount of money spent...well, a nice set of wheels can put you down by around $4K-$5K already. Body kit mods with paint and installation would be probably close to $3K. A few more items here and there and one can easily spend about $10K on just exteriors mods so I guess it just depends what you value more.

Hope everything gets sorted with your car Jashy and that it performs flawlessly and troublefree for years to come. Enjoy!

Thats the previous Twin Screw Kit they had, which they discontinued. I bought the stage 2 supercharger kit that isnt even on the website yet. Its a brand new kit! I called to order the twinscrew and they told me that they no longer make it and upgraded it to a more reliable supercharger kit, which is the one i bought. Well again, I thought the installation was going to only be 15 hours, per AA, but it ended up not being so. So I was thinking of only spending 8500, still a little steep but I like it. I have no doubt in my mind that I can beat 535's and 550's. I was driving to work today and had a smile the whole 20minutes. If all of you added up your exterior mods such as Mtech kit, spoilers, lips + painting I think it would be in the same ballpark in which i paid for my supercharger. I was going to go that way until my friend just asked me why I dont go with a supercharger. Well it took MUCH more convincing than that. Ya you can say i could have gotten in an 6 series but to tell you the truth I love my car. Its manual, love the options, and the color combo puts the icing on the cake. Overall Im happy. When I was ordering AA said it should have 400hp, 350 to the wheels, but we will all find out in a couple weeks as soon as my tachometer stops going up and down.
