That's such a same I was excited to see the results.. I am stuck with a 530 or 535 because I want AWD and the XI's only come in these, so I was hoping this would be a great boost for me as well on HP. I could shell out 10k for this, I think it would be worth it. I don't see myself moving to the new 5 series anytime soon or EVER...

Did the company take the SC back no questions asked?

There were many questions asked but AA is an extremely good company. they understood the pain that I was in and that all the complications that RRT went through installing this system so they said they would take it back. im shipping it back tomorrow.

Good for you Jashy. I'm sorry this didn't turn out the way you expected but the project was doomed from the start when they try to put a square peg in a round hole adapting the e46 charger. It was an expensive lesson but at least you can walk away with a usable car that you can enjoy instead of a constant headache and money pit. Is RRT refunding anything on the install or is AA compensating you considering they were unable to get the product to work? I would hope so as I'm sure it wasn't your idea to walk into RRT and say put an e46 supercharger on your e60, they obviously had confidence that they could get it to work on your application. Either way at least its off and you can still use the car

Sucks to hear man, the AA s/c was really something, good thing you took it off, hopefully your car will be fine and you can get your money back so you can spend it on some cosmetic mods for your car

Jash,
I am sitting here reading this thread almost a year later and may I tell you it was a sad ending.

I am sure you would have felt really bad. I would however like to thank you for giving us an opportunity to learn from you.

Thanks to you and thanks to the 5 series Forums
