I finally got my AA Stage 2 Supercharger installed today!

I ordered the supercharger kit straight from Active Autowerke on July 27th, 2009 and received the package from them on August 28th. THE VERY NEXT DAY i ran over to Road Race Technologies, a BMW specialty tuner shop to install it. There was problem after problem because the kit was made for a e46 330 with the same engine as mine, but little did AA know, under the hood the two are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. RRT did a great job installing the supercharger on my car. The biggest problem was that the intercooler was much wider than my radiator so custom tubing and hosing had to be put on. The next problem was that my Air Flow Meter that comes with E60's is built in the intake, but the intake had to be removed. So RRT custom routed tubing from e36's and e46's to make this work. Then they found out that the 3 series had a 6 pin plug while the e60 had a 5 pin plug so they inserted a dummy pin to keep it from shooting errors. Now the only option that RRT gave me was to wait until the part came in, so they are keeping me updated and im going back wed. to get everything finalized. THEY ARE GREAT! They always kept me updated!

Problems:

Now when i start my engine the rpm shoot up to 2500 and then down to 500 back and forth but the guys at RRT said that its the car reteaching itself since the DME was reflashed and modified by AA. It does this everytime I am at a stoplight or in other words in idle. They said it will eventually go away and I really hope it does.

AND HERE IS THE GRAND FINALE!!!!!!!!!!

I WILL SEE THE DYNO RESULTS WHEN THE IDLE PROBLEM RESOLVES AND I WILL POST ASAP!
