I have a 545 with a custom remus set-up - which sounds pretty frikin marvelous!

But, then again I have a quad set-up and I don't believe RPI offers this, correct?

Sound is completely subjective, however it is fairly established that the RPI is a loud system that provides great gains, if you don't mind the noise, RPI is a great option.

However, going against the current bandwagon here, I feel these following options should be of your consideration if you like a subtle note yet great performance gains as well.

1. SuperSprint (multiple configurations available varying from a street sound to a higher pitched race note, performance and price will also vary). Made in Italy.

2. Remus SPORT system (street level sound with great performance gains, 10hp on the 545i and it's very affordable coming in at under $700.) Made in Austria. Available in single or quad configuration.

correct rpi doesnt make a quad system because of the power loss a quad system has. they have refused to compromise the horse power gains for cosmetics.

As far as the rpi being loud, they do offer silencers now. Best of both worlds....great gains with amazing sound, and the option to tone the sound down if your a family man/women with kids

RPI is not a loud exhaust for the I6, for the V8 Im not sure how it sounds but I would assume more apparent than with my wittle engine

The RPI is far from loud for me, at least inside the cabin. When I was standing outside right next to the exhaust when my bro revved it, it sounded great. But from the inside, it's like a low "woohhhh". I was actually going to see if RPI has any cat back piping options (not sure what the pipes are called for our car but the equivalent of a S or X pipe on the E46 M3). I want it louder, especially since an X5 just drove in the parking lot next to mine and made my RPI V8 sound like a wuss.
