What is the best exhaust for a 06 530i? Looking for a nice sound, nothing ricy sounding though.

having the same car as you and doing some research I would say Eisenmann is the best..... in the end I did not get it as the noticeable power increase is almost none so it is mostly about the sound....which is very nice with this Eisenmann.....

hey, how is Ft. Laud those days? used to study there a few yrs back. love the city and the beach

yeah none of the exhausts increase power. some even decrease power. its all about the sound, and maybe the look of the tips.

in a nutshell...

b&b is the loudest
eisenmann is perhaps the quietest
remus is the best bargain
dinan sounds exotic
supersprint might have that italian sound
hamman is made by supersprint
acs is made by remus
rdsport has full catback
cargraphic - don't know, never heard it and no one here has it
breyton - don't know, never heard it and no one here has it

i think that about sums it up...

Cannot find any words to agree with this. I never like loud exhaust sound, but EuroCarFan's Dinan Exhaust sound so exotic. I think it's because of V8 sound. For I6, I don't think it sound that exotic. Might be just attractive.

my530i ~ that's the 2nd or 3rd time I've heard you rave about ECF's exhaust! I missed hearing it at the last meet. ECF, next time I'm in the South Bay, I'm calling you!
