i'm thinking about getting exhaust, but i DO NOT want to sound like a ricer! so with that said, what options are out there that will give me a nice, deep sound.

any suggestions? thanks in advance.

Many of us on here have a magnaflow muffler installed. It looks great and sounds great too! It's a very inexpensive exhaust set up since the muffler will cost you between $150-$200 and the install should be no more than $100. I have the one with the rolled 3" tips (magnaflow #14862). I got it on ebay for $160 shipped. The rolled tips make it look more like stock, but since they are 3" they fill out the space much better.

I did have the #14815 muffler, but I didn't like the straight cut tips look. Here are a couple pics of what my #14862 looks like.

Looks good -- great tip on the magnaflow option. Definitely sounds more affordable than the other $$$ mufflers.

No significant cabin noise when cruising on the highway. Anyone who rides in my car never notices on the highway. Don't worry it doesn't sound ricey! It's a nice deeper lower pitch. I don't have a clip, but here is C's #14815 muffler. It a decent clip. Mine sounds similar, but mine is a little deeper. It could also be the recording. It sounds great in person!

that's good to hear!

how 'bout performance wise? seeing that it's only a muffler, did you notice it to be more free flowing or is it mostly for looks & sound?

Get the dual tips and go with Magnaflow. I have a place here in OC that does a great job.
