I received the following reply to an inquiry that I made a few weeks ago:

Thank you for writing Bentley Publishers. We are committed to doing this title, but at this time I do not have an expected date for the E60 manual.

Wish I could provide you better information, it is on our short list.

Interesting. About 3 to 4 weeks ago, I called the exec sec at Bentley, and she called me back in a few days and told me that they don't know, but that they hope to produce it in 2010. Basically, the same as what you said.

I also called the Corp exec sec at BMW. She too called back, stating that they had no plans at this time.

Hopefully, we will see it as Bentley thinks in 2010, but neither company is willing to commit to a proposed release date.

 

The same thing happened with my R32 VW...

Enough people complained about not having any info in the MKIV Bentley manual that they were forced to change it...
but only for the ONLINE version and not the print one...
