Unless we are talking about the M5 kit. That bigger air damn, diffuser and the boot spoiler must be better for the car surely.

My Ride: 2011, X6 Hybrid . Alpine White , every option. 20" Conti' NON runflats,OEM trunk spoiler , LUX V3 AE's , HP Thunder Fogs , custom front bumper reflector delete........
The air dams definitely direct air into the brakes..... they really distribute the brake dust well !!

Maybe a better amount of air to the brakes, yes .

Assuming you are a professional driver on a proper race track, moving the car at it's limit, you may experience some benefit from the aero package.
The rest of us mere mortals enjoy it for the looks
