Trace file seems to be in order ... when you change VO you have to re-code (the best is process the whole car) 'cuz by adding/removing option it'll effect a module (maybe multiple modules) BUT doing so could be dangerous so at least re-init the particular module you know that is effected in this case KGM.

To re-init, code the KGM w/ a blank MAN file first so the module take default setting/value based on the VO (since you add $430 it may have different stuff) and re-adjust what you want after that.

AFAIK, no matter what NCS Expert should complete the job w/o any kind of error, in your case since it threw error obviously indicated something is not working properly.

I will sure try this. But, can i recode KGM with the original KGM trace instead of empty .MAN file?

Hello - did you get any further with this. I've retro-fitted some folding mirrors to my E61 (LCI 2009) and done all the coding as per this post (VO, CAS, LMA & KGM) but the mirrors won't even tilt, much less fold. I'm not sure if there is a problem with the mirrors I bought (although the fit perfectly with the right plugs) or if I've just missed something in terms of coding. Any advice ??
