Agreed, they're pretty bad

At the risk of being "bruceholmsed" since I know the overwhelming choice here is red rear reflectors, does anyone like clear rear reflectors? I think they might look decent with my TiSilver. Be gentle

I'm looking at the BMW Options catalogue for the E60 which has a silver car (german plates # M:FZ4182 if anyone has the same catalogue) with tail spoiler, totally clear rear lights and just the red reflectors in the bumper. IMHO it looks awesome.

Hmm, hadn't thought of going that route.

My Ride: '04 545iS 6 spd, bought new via eBay, 11/05; Blk/Gry, Cold, L7, PDC, BMW Rear seatcover for pets. First "Bumwa" was a new 1971 2002. High performance 5s since 1987. Beamer motorcycles too, currently on an 07 BMW K1200 GT; also a Moto Guzzi 1000 SP III.

FWIW, I dislike all the boy-racer affectations of after-market add-ons, especially when applied to the non-high-performance models. Why I have always loved BMW Hi-Perf models is their low-key subtlety. Only if the trooper is savvy enough to notice the low profile stance (at high speed) will he have any idea that it is anything other than a boulevardier.

And frankly, when I see the kid-in-a-12-yo-Honda look applied to a BMW, it irks me; you're blowing my stealth rocket cover--and chances are very good that he doesn't even have the rocket part.

Cheers,
Ray Hull
