I purchased the replacement bumper reflector kit from www.bavauto.com for my 2004 E60.

Any idea how to remove the originals before I make a mess?

Thanks

Use dental floss to pull it out.

Dental floss or thin shoelaces should work out but for fun, here's a link to a thread that contains a bunch of information about this. (Don't just read the first post since it contains information that is contrary to what BMW recommends...)
