Easier way to add extra bass to your current audio system. I had it on my E39 and i really like it. Now they just released it for the E60.
One thing I really like about the BASSLINK from bavauto is that it is trully plug and play. Just open the box and connect it to your audio system without having to make holes or cut any wires. (less than 10min to connect)
I sound like a saleman. But i am sure that those who used the basslink before will agree with me.
I am posting the picture of the old one (the one i had on my E39). They havent updated the website yet with the new one.
www.bavauto.com -- search for BASSLINK
Me thinking of getting one! -- my jazzy needs it.

Are you sure they released it for the e60? The last time I checked it wasn't available.

I just received the 06 spring catalog and saw it there. I called them to verify and the saleperson told me it is not a print mistake. It is the new version of the baslink and it sounds much better. The amp was upgraded from 200watt to 250watt. The saleperson told me the website is not yet updated with that information.

I just called and they said that the kit for our e60's is not available yet. I don't know who's right but I do hope this will be available at some point.

How much is it and exactly how do you hook it up? Please, thank you.
They way it works on the E39 is as follow:
1) There is a plug on your AMP.
remove the plug from the amp (that connects your speakers...elect..etc)
2) connect the basslink to the amp
3) then you connect the plug you removed on 1) to the basslink.
That is how simple it is.
It took me like 5 min or less to do it. Hmm..come to think about, I still have my old bass link lying around. If any body needs it, just let me know. (free of charge..including shipping if it is less than $25)

If you read the description again for the BaseLink II, the one that works on our 5 series, it says that it comes with a wire harness that will require some splicing. Only the original BaseLink for other vehicles were direct plug n' play.
