I don't have any wood trim. Yeah I wanted to try something different. It just looks to plain in that area. I might take it off though.

My Ride: 2004 BMW E60 530i, upgrades: Magnaflow exhaust, Mtec angel eyes and low beam head lights, Just purchased 172 style wheels, looking around for the best tires on Tire Rack now. R1 concepts rotors drilled/slotted. Saving for the M-style kit from Trinity Auto.

Great pics, like everyone is saying, nice and clean. On my way to put M-tech front and side spoilers on this summer along with CF splitters as well. I just put on 172 style wheels, what a difference in the look of my 530i. I also have the same pedals as you do, looks sharp! Keep up the pics as mods come long, I need the inspiration as well!

I figure the chrome slats won't make the BMW signature kidney grill disappear. Plus in low lighting, the slats sort of "dim" and they start to look like black\chrome. I know there's a lot of chrome haters here, but I think the combo will help give the car a sportier edgy look while still showing some class.

I did this on mine.

Love the chrome slits on the grill and disliked how black made everything disappear.

But instead of a black surround I color matched it.

Nice set up. I like the idea of keeping the flats in the grill chrome.
