dealer just confirmed the digituner is included with the tv option for 2005, only ?70 more....now looking into ways to upgrade.

Yep.. This is available since 2 months ago when I placed the order. I didn't get anyway... It costed for me more than 1000euros as I don't have navigation. It didn't worth the money. I've got plenty of TV sets at home .. don;t need it in the car.

 

I'm also looking forward to switch the TV tuner. I don't know yet if this is possible, but I think so. Worst case would be installing the set top box for 975,- Euro.

 

its available now as an aftermarket part only for germany. I went down to order it and the dealer said only for germany.

Why can't you get it in the UK ? I don't see why this is only available in Germany...
Now, that's confusing...

 

i dont know. probably different wave length or something. Ill check again tomorow with a diferent dealer.
