to debadge...
boil your kettle, pour the water over the badge and down the back while pushing at the badge with rubber gloves on.
the glue melts and the badge will come right off!? then all you do it get the glue off using hot water also.

WHAT?? Boil water?? Use a hair dryer... or a heat gun... heat it just enough and it'll come off.

My Ride: 535d Eccelsa, 05 2005 (built 12-04), sapphireblack, beige dakota leather, electric seats, poplar wood trim, sport suspension, 124 style 18" alloys, differentiated f/r runflat tyres, steptronic, adaptive light control, bi-xenon, BMW PRO nav, cd, cd changer, electric-foldable and automatic antidazzle rear mirrors, automatic antidazzle internal rear mirror, adjustable central armrest, BT, Hifi Professional LOGIC7 , extended functions aircon, full lighting package, green comfort fascia on windshield, PDC park distance control, voice control, CPT9000 car phone, BMW Assist, BMW On-line, BMW Tracking, alarm system, programmable remote controls.
In Italy all Attiva models (the sporty ones) are debadged from the factory. For the other models (Eletta, Futura, Eccelsa) it's an option at no cost. Personally, I'll stay with the factory's policy: my present car is a Futura, and I kept it debadged. The new one is an Eccelsa, so I'll keep the 535d badge without any problem. (bytheway, the 535d is the coolest E60 in Italy, so why not to show it to your neighbours that is always ready to complain with wife about that bloody Mr. M......... that is changing cars every few months?)

I already made a decision to change my 525i badge to something that gives the impression of speed, prestige and extravagance.? Now, do you know where I can get a "Civic" badge??
Anyone?
