I think I previously posted this in the incorrect forum, I apologize if this is double post.

Hey guys,

A few months back I was discussing installing the license plate pdc and I successfully did at that time. It worked great for a while up until a few weeks back where it is beeping (not like it is on) but as if current is being passed to the speaker and I can hear high pitched, low in volume, un- ignore-bily enough to be blood curdling. It is only supposed to turn on when in reverse, as I tied it to the rear backup lights.

It seems as if the control box is going bad so my question is ultimately is the pdc license plate retrofit come with any kind of warranty ?

I really use this feature a lot more over it's still functional when I reverse.
