I have a BB on my 530 and yes, it's loud, but the hardest part to live with is the drone. I actually had a muffler shop install a Magnaflow resonator right before the muffler to quiet it down a bit. Dave (flyingpuck) had a cone custom-built by BB to lower the drone, but I'm not sure if they would make it on a case-by-case basis. I think he would be kind enough to get a group buy started so they would consider making them for us if we get >10 folks signed up.

Good morning guys! 
The B&B can be a bit loud, mine was until the "Resonation Cone" (B&B's name) was installed. As Lokoloko stated, they can be purchased for any exhaust system, and whereas a Group Buy could happen, it's my understanding that they will build these on a single basis too. So if you or anyone else here are interested, all that would be needed is the diameter of your exhaust tubing BEFORE the muffler, and it would be built to spec.

The Resonation Cone did little to change the performance (B&B swears it won't affect the performance at all) but certainly smoothed out the drone!

It makes it a touch quieter, but when you push it you have NO doubt that it is there!

As for mine, I think it's pretty deep. Didn't really notice any performance loss, but for my car, I just wanted it to sound better since I knew no exhaust would turn it into a beast anyways.
