To be honest I think your 545 sounds much, much better then the 530 with the BB exhaust... With you car I think Ferrari sound. With the 530 I think leak in exhaust sound..

yeah, i listened to it as well.
Any 530 owners out there with B&B, maybe another clip would sound different from this.
$775 is a lot of money to spend. don't want to mess up my car for something that would make it sound stupid.

Anyone out there with other kind of exhaust? A friend of mine in Washington DC had a Lexus GS400 with really nice exhaust, it was something like a whistle or smooth jet sound

Thanks, realtyman. Sounds good. Any personal assessments? I know you said it was not too loud inside after 1500 or so rpm. Does it idle fairly quiet? I'm torn a little between my debadging and announcing my presence with the rumble. The boy says go for it while the old man in me says keep it sedate. But, hey, I'm still chafing over not doing something for that 540 all those years. <_<

Here's what I think so far. Idle is louder than stock but not "loud". It has a nice rumble and there is no mistaking that it's a V8 under the hood.
From start to around 1,500 RMP it IS loud and does resonate inside the car. Around 2,200 rpm it realy quiets down inside the car.
At cruising speeds on the highway it is louder than stock but very quiet. Bear in mind that the stock exhaust is set up to be very quiet inside the car.
Lets say it's about as loud at cruising speed as most (sporty) cars with a V8.
WOT is louder than stock but not bad inside the car. (Sounds sweet outside).

I haven't had time to do any quantifiable testing but I have noticed that I get some tire chirping accellerating from a dead stop with DTC off which it didn't do before.

I'll try to run a 0-60 / Qtr. Mile later today.

The biggest improvement is the sound when downshifting!
It sounds like a freakin' race car. In stock form I mostly heard the engine sound when downshifting. Now, the exhaust note is more audible! I'll try to get some sound for you! That alone makes it worth it.

Note of caution: I have the Cats and BOTH sets of resonators in place and it is actually a little louder than I expected (not disappointed, however).
To quote a buddy of mine, he said "It sounds like a Totally different car" and he's right. I find that I am retraining myself on driving the car (RPM wise). Before, I'd drive the car in a way that I could hear the exhaust better (lower RPM when driving around town, etc.). No I am finding the opposite. I have no need to do that anymore as I CAN hear it.

Thanks, realtyman, for the once over of your honest and descriptive evaluation. That downshifting angle really intrigues me.
