No i havent, me and a friend took one of last night and realized it was 9pm and we would be there all night. put it back together and decided to tackle it at a different time. anyone have any suggestions when painting these? leave them on and tape everything you need to? take them off, bleed the brakes and do it when you take the pads off, tape off moving parts, etc? or get the brush kit and just paint them while they are mounted? suggestions needed please, and a link to the diy. i searched the forum but dont know which one i should use. i did buy brake cleaner, black caliper paint, and tape. got jack stands, and a jack obviously. any other tools i need to get?

I've only helped do this once and it was on a lift in a shop, but the guy that was leading the project taped everything off (took a long time, too) leaving the calipers on. He taped off all the bits himself, so I don't even remember now any peculiarities, but I know that he just sprayed them a total of 2 or 3 times (he was doing those in red) and when they dried, took the tape off and put the wheels back on, lowered the lift and it was done... though, I'd imagine its probably a cleaner job to take them off - if you don't mind the mess of doing that - and paint them away from other parts, so that you have that stock look, like they came black from the factory... yeah, actually, I say take 'em off - that's my "uneducated" opnion

here they are.

miro m6 reps. 20x9 on the front with 245/35/20 general exclaims. 20x10 on the rear with 275/30/20 generals as well. Hub centric rings are on as well.
I have driven fast and taken turns, no rubbing what so ever, even with my factory wheels in the back seat and my stock muffler in the trunk. that a good amount of added weight and i didnt hear one rub. one thing that was kind of off was the front right tire is really close to rubbing the strut. anyone else have this problem? it isnt touching but it is damn close!!

had them road force balanced today and they ride pretty damn good. im extremely happy and love them. what do you think?

sorry for the dirty car and the shitty pictures but you get the idea!!

Your car sure has come a long way! looking great B!

And for the record, I don't think your car really needs to be dropped, it already looks low. Much lower then my XI, thats for sure!
