the aux input kit that worked with 04 and 05 E60's doesn't work with 06's.
Has this been resolved? Is an 06 auxiliary input now available? Do you lose the "6 CD changer" option if you install the aux input?

That thread makes no reference to MY06 concerns. Maybe u read another thread but posted incorrect URL?. In any case, the aux kit still works for MY06 and does not eliminate any other option/device. Several MY06 E60 forum members have the Aux kit successfully installed even after being told it wouldn't work.
