For those of you who have had the aux input installed, can you share where it was installed?
I know most people put it in the glove box, just curious if anyone had it located anywhere else.

I had mine installed in the glove box. I have heard of people installing them in their center console beneath the flip up armrest and in the passenger's compartment footwell next to the aux power source.

My dealer did in my glove box too, in my opinion it is the best place for me as I put many things in the middle. But here we have some members who did it there.

You can basically have the AUX Input installed wherever you want, as long as the cable is long enough for it.
Permanent power outlet is a little more difficult, because it causes warning massages "Battery Drain". But it's possible.

Done by my dealer also, as we know some dealers are more equal than others, mine is phsically installed and visible to IDrive, however no sound, so make sure you hear it working before you leave. Mines getting sorted tomorrow...let yawl know what was wrong for reference.
