Want to add my IPOD Video to my 530I.

Based on what I read here, there is a way to do this, but I would lose my CD changer.

So, I got an FM transmitter. It works OK, but I still hear static on occasion.

I see that there is a potential option of adding an Aux. Input.

Will this get me static free input without losing my CD changer?

I have a 2004 530I (May build), w/ Nav, w/ premium sound, cd changer. If this is posted in the wrong section, please accept my apologies.

Get rid of the CD changer and get the Ipod interface, you will be able to control your iPod from the iDrive and there won't be any static noise.
