- - just bought a lightly used "authentic" Hamann splitter... was wondering if there are any characteristics that would distinguish it from all of the Hamann "type" replica splitters out there - some are quite good. At the end of the day, its not a huge issue, but did pay a premium for it... build quality seems OK, lightweight fiberglass w/ 5 mounting holes on each side - there is a raised section on the bottom of the lip where the Hamann stamp is normally located - but can't make anything out... Thanks in advance for any info.
