Anyone know of a quality audio shop in Los Angeles that has experience with the I Drive & the e60?

West Coast Customs? I dunno about LA... but if you're gonna let a shop touch your E60, go to the best, it's a very complicated car. If you have an assload of time and a decent garage, consider DIY like I did.

I agree with Merzbow that if you know the car, you can work on it comfortably. Some calls themselves professional installers dare not touch E60 because of the complication. They're best on old Honda or so.
Take time to learn your car and you can do it by yourself easily, but time is the key.
Installing or upgrade E60 audio system is just as easy as other car, but you need to have a lot of time to study how to take car a part and put it back together, and NOT trigger any false signal which requires dealer to reset.

Yup. If they can put a Jackhammer in a Buick Century (400-pound subwoofer), they can do anything...
