don't do it, let audi's be audi's and bmw's be bmw's. We have angel eyes and they have those led strips
+1, angel eyes that's the real thing.
Don't do it

Very nice and bright, even in daylight! I wonder how much this mod costs from OSS?

It comes out to about $500.

$200 for the rings, $300 for the labor to put it all together.
I have the email from Luis if you're interested.

I'm def getting this mod towards the end of summer.

I know, but everyone's been moaning about how dim the led angel eyes, inc me. I'm certainly not thinking of spending $300 for a pair of led light and this may be the cheaper solution.
someone the other day just posted pics of the AE's he bought from ebay for $55 and he said they were pretty bright. But like some others have suggested, if yolu are going to spend the money doing the audi thing, why not spend the money doing the LED AE thing like the e90 posted above. Those LED rings sell for cheap but it will take some work getting your headlight housing apart to fit them.

The thing is no one here has been successfully able to disassemble the headlights. The oven trick does not work on e60s. If it did my lights would have been in the oven the day i bought it to remove those blasted reflectors.

Please PM the email from Luis. Considering what I paid
for AiB v3.0, I may add this to the mod list. Thanks!

I'll need to confirm from him if he can indeed disassemble
the headlights properly. As einstein57 mentioned this
has been the primary challenge for our E60 headlights.
