Gents,
Spoke to H&R today. The crates are delayed about a week. Once they pass through customs and get to H&R HQ USA, they should be available in 2 weeks. They said this is typical on new products that are made overseas. I will keep updating everyone as to when they become available, as I know the rest of you Xi owners are as eager as me.

Hi cmansbimmer,
The offset of my rims are ET40 all around which I specifically requested IForged to do since I want to install a pair of Brembo brakes on the front and that will make sure I can have enough spaces.
I've actually treid another set of 19" rims with ET38 before and I ended up with the same problem.
I strongly believe if the xi model is equipped with 245/35/19 tires and ET38 rims, rubbing can not be avoided. And don't even need to think about lowering the car with the above settings either because there will be even more serious rubbing.
But lastly, I want to point out that with the 245/35/19 tires, the gap is actually ACCEPTABLE.
Please, anyone, correct me if I'm wrong.

Wow...ok, now you got me thinking twice about going with 19's. hmmm.... I believe there are a few other owners on here that have our cars that have 19's and don't have that issue. Thanks for the info. Very good to know!

As I've said previously, if the XI model is equipped with 245/35/19 tires, the gap is not that bad. I would rather have 19" rims on than have 18" rims and new shocks. Although there are some rubbing with the 19" but you just don't always turn the wheel all the way so it's ok. In my opinion, a bigger size rim will definitely make the car looks better than with smaller rims and shocks to lower it.
My car is at the dealership for some works now and I should be getting it back next week. I will post some pictures as soon as I get the car back.

You're right that you don't turn the wheel that far, that often, but just knowing that would make me think twice about even going to 19"s (with or without lowering the car). Hmmm...maybe I'll just stick with 18's and lower the car...
Looking forward to seeing the pix.

Thought I would update everyone that has these model cars and let them know that H&R has completed R&D on the suspension kits for the E60 xi series! Wahoo! Per my last post over a month ago, I learned that H&R was developing a kit for this car, but that it was in R&D. TireRack said they had a kit for this from H&R, but after speaking directly to H&R, this was NOT correct and warned people against buying this kit with the X drive system.
I spoke to my contact at H&R yesterday and they just got out of R&D last week and are going into production. My contact at H&R told me to check back in 3-4 weeks, as he will know what containers they will be shipped out in and what distributors will have them for immediate sale.
I also asked what the adjustable ride height would be (Coil-Over Kits) and was told .5" - 1.5". They'll have everything from shocks to springs to coil-over kits to sway bars.
So for all those that want their wheel gap to go away and to have less sway and a stiffer, more sporty ride since we lack ARS, have no fear, help is on the way!
I'll send out a final post on this topic once the product becomes available. Stay tuned...

For those that have been eagerly awaiting suspension mods for the "xi" series models, H&R has finally released them for sale!! The newsletter to dealers came out last week. Cost is approximately $389. Shocks and Coil-Overs are soon to follow (a few more months), but according to H&R, the standard lowering springs were designed to work with the stock shocks so you don't burn through them. For those that have been dreading the wheel gap, your problems have been solved. Ride height will be in the neighborhood of around 1" - 1.5", but don't quote me on that...

After posting this original thread last year, I'm happy to say that the springs are finally available for XI owners.
